Quick and Healthy 'Bring A Plate' Ideas
Its coming into party season. Yaaaah!!
I love parties and I love food. I love the opportunity to come together and share food!
Here are some really simple and healthy ideas for you to take to those ‘bring a plate’ parties.
Many of these meals can be frozen – so if you have a few events coming up, you could easily do a cook up and pop some in the freezer for quick option.
These look great served with skewers on a bed of spinach with a side of sweet chilli sauce
½ medium sweet potato peeled and chopped roughly
1 x 400 gram tin of pink salmon
1 x egg
2 x tablespoons of sweet chilli sauce
1 Tablespoon of wholemeal flour or psyllium husk
Steam sweet potato until soft. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Add all ingredients to food processor and process until combined.
Make into small patties, place onto a lined oven tray and cook for around 30 minutes.

Option to swap Pork for lentils with a tomato based sauce.
