Dairy Free Delicious Easter Eggs!



Dairy free delicious eggs can be hard to come by!


But they are easy to make!! (There is an option to include dairy if your would like).


These eggs are free from additives, low in sugar and high in magnesium and other essential minerals.


Enjoy getting messy creating these with your kidlets!


OR you could even send this recipe to the Easter Bunny for delivery on Easter morning ; )


Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of Cocoa Butter

  • 2 Heaped tablespoons of raw cacao powder

  • 1/4 cup of raw honey or real maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • A pinch of Salt

  • Optional but fun! – Be creative with adding flavours – chilli? Dried fruit? Peppermint? Coconut flakes? Nuts? Nut Butter?

Method

  • Place Cacao butter in a small bowl or double boiler. Place glass bowl on top of a small saucepan that contains ab out an inch of water. Gently melt cacao butter in the small bowl on top of the saucepan.

  • When cacao butter is smooth and melted, remove it from heat and add cacao powder, sweetener and flavours of choice. Mix well to combine. I find a whisk works great!

  • Poor into Easter moulds to create Easter shapes and eggs.

  • Place in the fridge and leave to set for a few hours.

  • ENJOY dairy free deliciousness!!

Note: If you would like to add dairy - You can add a tablespoon of butter melted in with cacao butter for a creamier style egg.
