Today, Naturopaths have the added benefit of being able to combine this traditional knowledge with the latest scientific research to create a powerful integrative healing system. Naturopaths believe that the body has the inherent knowledge to self-heal, given the environment and conditions to do so. To optimise health, Naturopaths draw from a holistic combination of modalities, including botanical medicine, targeted use of foods as medicine and lifestyle optimisation techniques.

Nutrients are the building blocks of our body; they affect how we think, sleep, move and feel. When we supply our body with the correct balance of nutrients, vitamins and minerals, it has the building blocks or tools to run efficiently, creating optimum health and functioning.
Herbal Medicine is the use of the plants (leaves, root, bark, flowers and seeds) for medicinal benefit. It is one of the oldest, yet still most widely used, healing systems in the world today. Herbal medicine utilises plants, even ones we know and use daily in cooking, but at a highly concentrated extracted dose to enhance the medicinal properties.
As a herbalist, I draw from a wide range of medicinal herbal tinctures, blending them to create an individualised herbal prescription to fit your body and its unique needs.
The advantage of being able to combine a variety of herbs is that they act synergistically in different areas of your body, working holistically in the body as a whole.
